As part of our mission to foster a stronger collaborative future for our communities locally and abroad, Bridge-Pamoja hosts regular forums, meetings, seminars, and more to bring our community together.

 

Normally, these meetings are held in person. Because of COVID-19, all of our meetings are now online via Zoom.

Every Wednesday Bridge-Pamoja hosts a meeting that brings together African and African-American pastors from around Portland. We’re a growing coalition working to address the issues we see in our various communities. Scroll down to find our upcoming meetings!

The Role of the Local Church in Building Sustainable Communities in the Post Pandemic World

When: March 2021 – Every Thursday from 10-11:30PST

Bridge-Pamoja in partnership with the Coalition of African/African American Pastors welcome internationally recognized Bishop Harold Ray, Founder/CEO, The National Center for Faith-Based Initiatives to facilitate a training series for African/African American Pastors beginning this Thursday, March 4, 10-11:30am and continuing weekly on Thursdays during the month of March. Please give your attention to the accompanying flyer – no registration required.

 

Bishop Ray’s leadership is focused upon creating coalitions of faith and community-based, intermediary organizations dedicated to increasing access to high quality, economic programming, and “place-based” services in underserved communities. He’s worked with past US Presidents, the United Nations and other international leaders.
