Bridge-Pamoja will work to bring together a coalition of partners and individuals among populations representing the African Diaspora and Africa that are united, organized, and empowered to affect change.
Core partners and their roles in this project include:
IRCO (African House): Assistance with data collection, outreach to the African community, and resource referrals – i.e. healthcare, foster care, counseling and policy advocacy
TOGO Community Organization of Oregon: Assistance with outreach to the African community, meeting facilitation, and event planning
Urban League of Portland: Assistance with resource referrals – i.e. housing, employment, legal, counseling, economic development and health resources
Black Students Union: Support with event logistics, marketing, and promotion
Houses of Worship: Support with event planning, storytelling sessions & outreach
