COVID-19 Assistance

We have partnered with the Oregon Health Authority to provide COVID-19 education outreach to the community and the Portland Housing Bureau to provide rent relief and household assistance to families disproportionately impacted by COVID-19.

UPDATE 12/11: Bridge-Pamoja is no longer accepting applications for the CVHAP and CVRRP. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Program Overview

Household Assistance Program (CVHAP)

The City of Portland created CVHAP to assist households under financial distress caused by the impacts of the COVID-19 crisis. Funds will provide a single, $500 payment for emergency household assistance to individuals with incomes at or below 80% Area Median Income (AMI) in Portland, with priority in serving BIPOC communities experiencing the greatest adverse impacts from COVID-19.

COVID Rent Relief Program (CVRRP)

The COVID-19 Rent Relief Program was created to prevent evictions caused by the financial and health impacts of COVID-19. The program is funded by City of Portland CARES CRF funds.
